I am passionate about a lot of things, but food is at the top of that list! I love nothing more than making memories with my family and friends, using “food” as the main ingredient. In South Louisiana, we embrace our Cajun culture and the joie de vivre, celebrating our love of Faith, Family, Friends, and most importantly Food. It’s always the centerpiece of any gathering and there’s a festival to celebrate everything from boudin to crawfish, rice to po-boys, and even frogs!

My inspiration for cooking came at an early age, being inspired in my grandmother’s kitchen. I can remember entering MawMaw and PawPaw’s house, walking down the black and white tile floor into the kitchen. The smells of corn soup, bean soup, and chicken gumbo were incredible. As I think about this at this moment, it gives me chills just remembering the powerful aroma that would fill the house. It makes me think of….
